In November of 2005, the Center for Public Policy and Social Research (CPPSR) at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) became an archive partner with the Library of Congress on the Veterans History Project (VHP). A unanimous vote of Congress in 2000 created the VHP to collect and preserve the oral histories of our country's wartime veterans and civilians who have supported the war effort in a significant way. CCSU is privileged to participate in this worthy and historic endeavor.
