Sep 4, 2010 - Britax are definitely the best car seats on the market, hands down. Great video! I cannot stress enough that a child should remain rear facing as long as possible! So much safer! The guidelines really need to be changed from 1 year and 20 pounds.

Nov 9, 2010 - I understand the center of gravity part, but Britax is not the best car seat on the market. All car seats have to pass the FMVSS213 tests and NHTSA in order to be sold to people. They are all essentially the same. No car seat is better for SIP. There are no federal standards for SIP testing or regulations in the US. It's all marketing. Kaylajo1: the AAP has recommended for 8 years now that children should remain RF until the height and weight limits of their convertible car seat, not just 1/20
