We have plenty of phonebooks and I'm glad there's a good use for them beyond throwing them immediately into the recycling bin.

Dec 16, 2010 - Video helped us get the new unit installed. Only thing was ours didn't have black or white wires. Both were grey. If anyone runs into this...one side of the cord is ribbed to indicate white and the other side smooth, to indicate black. Replaced Waste King piece of crap with a new Insinkerator Evolution. Wow, to think I put up with that noise. The new one is super quiet.

Mar 1, 2011 - This video saved me a $95 installation fee from the "big box" store; if you can set aside about an hour (if that), then you should DEFINITELY do your own disposal replacement. Watch the video twice, install the disposal once!

Jan 12, 2012 - I'm about to get a new disposal but so far i haven't seen any videos where the discharge outlet is in a different location. My tube goes straight in but knowing my luck, the new outlet will be one inch higher or lower than the existing setup. Is there a flexible attachment like the dishwasher or sink hoses?

Feb 18, 2012 - How are you holding up the garbage disposal while attaching it to the mounting ring. I'm trying to replace my disposal and finding it extremely hard to line up and hook the rings while holding it.(not I did not replace the flange or mounting ring from the old disposal as the new one is the same brand and the same mounting ring should fit)
