Camp Janus is a camp for burn survivors ages 5 -18 years old. Camp Janus offers unique recreational, therapeutic, and educational opportunity for children who have recovered, or are recovering from burns. It provides an opportunity for survivors to socialize with their peers in a pleasant out-of-doors-camp environment where both their physical and psychological recovery is enhanced and where physical challenges are only incidental. Camp Janus provides the opportunity for these special children to just be kids! The GOT Shooters Foundation, Shiloh Shooting Range, Spectre Firearms and Hot Wells Shooting Range are partnering up to help bring children, who otherwise may not have had the opportunity, to Camp Janus. The average cost per camper is $700 and we would like to bring 5 more kids to camp! CAMP JANUS SHOOT-OUT RULES: Participants can buy 1 target and 1 bullet, caliber of their choice, for $10. All $10 goes to Camp Janus to help bring more burn survivors to camp. Participants shoot their target at either Hot Wells or Shiloh, from now until Sept. 18th, 4pm. The top 5 targets from Shiloh, Spectre, and Hot Wells will shoot on Sept. 19th for a Sig Sauer pistol! Door prizes and raffles will be available from manufacturers such as Diamondback, Glock, Charter Arms, Springfield Armory, Ruger, Fail-Zero,Tucker Gun Leather, Frog Lube, Blue Wonder and Gallery Furniture. Texas Law Shield is even offering 1 year of CHL lawyers on retainer as a prize! September 19th Activities: •Guns Over Texas Radio "Top-Shot Camp Janus Shoot-Out" at 12p. Prizes from 12p-5p. •Class 3 demo and test fire from Spectre Firearms. •Guardian Defensive Solutions will provide 2 free tactical classes. 1) Learning the draw for beginners, and 2) Advanced close quarters pistol operator. •Gary Rainey from Sig Sauer will be on hand with the entire line of Sig pistols to test fire before you buy! •Door prizes, raffles, marksmanship tournaments. •Live music •BBQ! Donations can be dropped off at any Chase Bank, care of GOT Shooters Foundation.
