"By J Bukits The earthquake of the 22 September 2002 occurred at 23:53 UTC (23 September 2002, 00:53 GMT), with an epicentre 3 km northwest of Dudley, West Midlands. The instrumental magnitude was determined at 4.7 ML, and initial reports suggested that the earthquake had been felt throughout England and Wales. To study the felt effects of the earthquake a macroseismic survey was carried out using the method of Musson and Henni (1999). This included a questionnaire printed in the Daily Telegraph newspaper and also an electronic version published on the BGS "Earthquakes" web site and publicized on the BBC News web pages and in a Daily Telegraph editorial. Approximately 6300 electronic questionnaires were completed with a further 1900 from the Daily Telegraph. The total number of usable replies received was approximately 7900. From the larger settlements, sufficient replies were received to allow the assignment of intensities, but many small hamlets and isolated farms contributed single questionnaires, from which it is more difficult to establish reliable values. After amalgamating replies from very close settlements less than 2 km apart, the total number of locations, which could be assigned intensity values, was 1506. The large number of replies received is partly a function of the strength of shaking in the most affected area, but is also influenced by the fact that the shock occurred in the heart of the English Midlands, in a quite densely populated area. The highest intensity experienced was 5 EMS (European Macroseismic Scale), which was observed quite widely over an area around Dudley, Birmingham, Walsall and Wolverhampton, and as far south as Kidderminster and Bromwich. In this area there was a certain amount of mingling of places where the intensity was 4 and where it was 5, and borderline cases. Intensity 5 was generally distinguished by an increased number of reports of objects thrown down, a greater level of alarm, and a greater tendency for the shaking to be described as strong. Objects thrown down included a bookcase falling over, books and music CDs thrown from shelves, candlesticks and picture-frames falling from ledges, mirrors and clocks thrown off walls, small ornaments and children's toys being knocked over, garden plant-pots toppled over, and so on. Larger items of furniture described as shaking violently included sofas, beds, chairs and even an upright piano which banged against a wall three times. There were many reports of people going outside to investigate. Animals (pets, cage birds) were alarmed in many cases. A few reports mentioned children being thrown out off their beds, adults thrown from their chairs or beds, and people feeling unsteady on their feet. A common report was the creaking of house joists. Due to the earthquake occurring in the middle of the night, whilst most people were indoors, there were no reports of any outdoor observations. Electric power was cut off to many homes in the Rowley Regis and Oldbury districts of Birmingham. In Edgbaston, multi-storey flats were evacuated. There were three reports received of minor physical injuries, the descriptions stating:" http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/2275158.stm Quote from sites on web as follows "The 2002 Dudley earthquake was an earthquake registering 4.7 on the Richter scale that struck the Midlands of England, on 22 September 2002 23:53 UTC (23 September, 00:53 local time) and lasted approximately 20 seconds.[1]" "Last month's Dudley earthquake was more powerful than at first thought, according to geologists. The quake, which hit on 23 September, was first registered at 4.8 on the Richter scale but has since been upgraded to 5.0 by the British Geological Survey." Source http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/2328911.stm "The biggest earthquake in the UK for nearly 25 years has shaken homes across large parts of the country. People in Newcastle, Yorkshire, London, Cumbria, the Midlands, Norfolk and also parts of Wales, felt the tremor just before 0100 GMT." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/7266136.stm Of course a lot of plebs were still in School at the time trying to convince the Teachers that they were brainy like some people below. Well the UK is bracing itself for some of the worst weather on record after we have just gotten over the longest Summer on Record we now may have the Coldest Days and Storms every recorded. Not only that it is not going to hit Up North this time but England and Middle Regions. This will start Monday and Tuesday next week. So just as we get over one storm there will be another even more powerful.

Dec 11, 2011 - JamesiProductions fails in the fact that I have the evidence and it is in the Description now for all to see. So if you are calling the BBC Liars and of course The Photographic Proof then you are a bigger fool I gave you credit for

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - epicentre 3 km northwest of Dudley, West Midlands I rest my case you are both wrong as usual

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - Well yes, I do call them liars; as a state-media channel they have every right to publish the research that puts Britian in some good light, and reject all those that expose it as propaganda. Let's see, they found one source, Musson and Henni, for the research validation, thus making it a poor excuse for research at any rate. Seismic shifts can't occur that far away from tectonic plates. I think the BBC should be looking at independent, peer-reviewed, verified research.

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - Also: it's pathetic that all Britain has to boast is some shitty earthquakes, at any rate.

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - not arguing twat I said the earthquakes were in England and they were you are the fool you lost the argument just admit defeat and go and troll some kid as that is more your level of intelligence you may even beat him

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - Here are some reccomendations: 1. Stop trying to prove your non-existent intellect by posting dubious sources (the BBC) to prove something that doesn't even matter, in order to cover up the gaps in your geological knowledge. 2. Stop trying to play internet hard man, it makes you look bitter, when your life has actually been nothing in comparison to some. 3. Start some anger management therapy and medications. You are seriously angry to the point of delusional projection.

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - take your own advise as it is you that comes across as an angry and bitter and jealous little pleb

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - I don't have to, because what you're doing is called projection. You're angry and bitter and so try to tar those feelings over me to justify yourself. That's why I suggest therapy.

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - I have a great life thanks LOL. You on the other hand seem to be the sort of person who probably has little life that he has to troll others. Best let you get on with it your a nobody I made it you did not. Looking at your channel you would be far better showing me how amazingly intelligent you are by getting partnership instead of trying to get me to bite back in the hope you will gain a few menial subs on your pathetic excuse for a channel

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - don't profess to being a Psychologist either. It makes me laugh the number of jealous pleb Aspies I come across because they are always butt hurt. It is not my fault you can't get your end away have your own place and manage your own bills without other peoples help. Like I said its obvious you are jealous and I enjoy kicking you around like a football. So that is the only reason you are not blocked

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - "how amazingly intelligent you are by getting partnership" Implies intelligence correlates with YouTube partnership. This is retarded thinking in the least. I'm sure if you took a random sample of Oxford professors, a tiny minority, if any at all, will actually have partnership. As ever, logic eludes you. "gain a few menial subs on your pathetic excuse for a channel" Actually, that's secondary to my goals. I couldn't care except to have fun with a mentally ill man.

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - I also would suggest you take your own advise. I did not ask for you to rant at me. I simply made a video LOL. I am hardly angry in this entire video. You go on about projection take a look at your pathetic little self. At least I don't have to stare in the mirror and see an ugly twat staring back at me

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - Actually the reason you have not blocked me is because you enjoy being on the receiving end of the kicks, you have some kind of masochist pleasure in being owned relentlessly. Also, the management of bills is so menial that Down's syndrome children could probably perform this task. Why are you boasting this? That above all is what's pathetic about you. You blow the most menial of your achievements into some kind of world-worthy exploits to be footnoted in history.

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - You've been raging in the comments section bro. Just because you can slap on a faux debonair on your video doesn't mean you've convinced anybody that you're anything except a mentally ill man, sadly out thanks to 'care in the community'-type initiatives.

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - Well as we are not mates and I do not really want to be. I keep you around for amusement and nothing more. Like I said I never said it was an amazing task doing what I do but a lot of Aspies and probably yourself seem to not be able to do it. They rant on Wrong Planet about not having a girlfriend and not being able to leave their long suffering parents.

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - You seem to have the wrong impression at any rate. and no, you've demonstrated that this is not true, rather you keep me around in the hope that by chance I somehow slip up and you can declare a coincidental victory, as that's all you're capable of. To live on luck like that stands in counterpoise to your allegedly "logical" nature. It's this kind of thinking that makes idiots buy lottery tickets. I know more of my life than you do of mine, you're incapable of secrecy.

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - So needless to say, you've no right to make any kind of comparison to me.

Antethema Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - know more of your life* typo sorry

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - well then looks like we either become friends or enemies in 2012. In my experience its always great to start the new year off with a big bang

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - by the way Chris just come out and say its you instead of hiding behind another sock puppet account its pathetic

Aspergianstar2009 Says:

Dec 11, 2011 - It would appear the worst storm is going to hit on Thursday bringing with it severe conditions and is set to continue

Antethema Says:

Dec 12, 2011 - Not him bro. You seem to have no way to validate it so yeah feel free to continue your paranoid streak.

Mozzyeon Says:

Dec 12, 2011 - i remember that tornado,it did do some bad damage,i remember as I was on my way to see my grandparents in birmingham at the time it was happening and it effected the bus service there .

Mozzyeon Says:

Dec 12, 2011 - hey Antethema, leave the man alone,he does know what hes talking about and I would say hes more of a sensible guy than you so leave him be please, you had no right to say that to him.let him do what he wants to do.

carrington53 Says:

Mar 15, 2012 - you talk bull shit m8 sorry m8 but you do
