Then he was pacing again. I wanted to ask what they were really talking about but I knew it'll only bring more unease and I'm sure they didn't want more discomfort. Do what you're told, ask questions later. That's been my motto around three times throughout this whole mess. "Name." Sawyer didn't ask but demanded a name. Leo looked up sharply at him. "Lord Seelie's youngest daughter." Sawyer winced. Great! Now their uneasiness is rubbing off on me and I don't even know what the hell is going on. "Where's Pierce?" Sawyer asked again. Leo let out another set of oaths and then stood still by the window glancing at Kenneth who looked beyond worried. "I don't know. He doesn't answers his phone either." The door burst open and I let out a high pitched ear piercing shriek, even Sawyer backed away a little. I was ready to see a bunch of men in black, swords and daggers in hand ready to fight. Or normal people like me trying to rob the wrong type of people. What I didn't expect was a grinning and cheerful Pierce. He came in waving a hand to us and still grinning like a damn fool. Pierce sat on the couch, set his feet on the small table between the other furniture and stretched his arms as he yawned and then grinned again. didn't his cheeks hurt by now? Too much grinning. He seemed unperturbed or more likely unaware of the tension in the room. Seriously? Pierce is the sensor of the group, the one who should always get caught up in vibes or whatever he does. He's supposed to be alert, not easy going and careless. "You guys aren't going to believe this! Melanie is amazing, we watched the movie. Went for ice cream and mmm...the rest I can't tell. But dear lord thanks for sending me that beauty!" he threw his arms up in the air, face titled up admiring something was wasn't there. Kenneth got up from his couch, walked over to Pierce calmly. Stared down at him for what seemed like centuries, Pierce didn't stop grinning like a fool but I could see some disdain under that hard stare. Who thought Kenneth could look so scary and intimidating? 'Cause that's what he's doing now, giving scary faces and intimidating glares at his friend. The smile on Pierce face faltered. I held my breath. Kenneth smacked Pierce's head and then punched his stomach. With a satisfied look he went back to his comfy place. "What the hell man?!" Pierce got up. That seemed to break through Leo's shocked stare. Had him walking up to Pierce and also smacking his head. "You idiot! Can't you see we are in trouble, feel the trouble?!" he yelled at him. Pierce cringed. Closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Moments passed and nothing happened. Pierce was still standing, eyes closed and calm breathing. "What is he doing?" I dared to ask. "No idea. I don't like that one bit." Sawyer cursed. "Welcome to the club of the 'unknown'." I didn't laugh. It wasn't a joke or anything to make him grin. Actually I'm fairly pissed. Pierce's eyes snapped open, worry and confusion in them. "Someone's missing." How the glory hell does he know that?! This time I wasn't the only one who frowned and looked totally confused with his words. No one knew exactly how Pierce's Curse worked. It's a unique one, that much I know. "Lord Seelie's youngest daughter." Leo sighed. "We leave first thing tomorrow. Rest we are going Lady hunting." Pierce open his mouth ad if to comment about the Lady hunting but the air's too thin, one wrong thing and I can guarantee a few injuries. Silently we all went to our rooms, the way grounded kids did well at least the sulky ones: head down and eyes glued to our shoes. Everyone went inside their rooms, Sawyer and I stood outside my bedroom. "Sawyer what-"
