just gonna get straight to the point, cause i'm tired, so here's chapter one. i will be posting a lot more. ------------------- My mind started running mad with thoughts and feelings as the memories from the past replayed over and over in my head. My hand slightly started shaking as I put my pen to the paper. And for the very last time ever, I signed my name R Jonas. I dropped the pen and soon heard it hit the table with what seemed like a loud bang. I lifted my head as a silent tear overflowed from my eye and started traveling down my cheek, leaving its trail behind it. The room was filled with lawyers and Joe, now my ex husband, who stood across from me. "Come on Jayden; let's go home," he said with a tone of urgency in his voice. I was confused as to why he was taking my son with him. "What?" I managed to chock out from behind me tears; "you can't take him from me!" "Yes I can Rosie" he was talking in a clear tone. The volume of his voice got slightly louder as he spoke. "You're an unfit mother, you don't deserve a son!" At that moment, my eyes shot open. I was breathing heavily and was starting to sweat. I sat up in a startle and started to take slow and deep breaths, trying to calm myself down and slow down my heart which was pounding at a hundred miles per hour. I slowly climbed out of my bed and walked to my bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror gazing back at myself when I noticed the tears that were still wet of the side of my face. I washed my face before walking out of the room. I started heading down to the kitchen but passed my sons room on the way. Jayden was still sound asleep, so I closed the door slightly, leaving it open a small gap and walked down stairs to the kitchen. I started making myself a coffee while at the same time punching a phone number into the cordless home phone. I put the phone up to my ear and soon got a dial tone. ??? -- "Hello" I recognized the voice straight away. Rosie -- "Hi Brad, how are you?" Brad -- "I'm good, how are you?" Rosie -- "I'm alright hey, is Selena up yet?" I tried to sound as happy as I could, so that he wouldn't stop and start asking me what was wrong. Brad -- "Yeah, I'll just get her for you" Rosie -- "Thanks" The phone soon went into silence. I could hear soft voices in the background but I couldn't make out what was being said. ??? -- "Hey Rosie" Rosie -- "hi Lena" She sounded really happy and cheerful. This time I didn't try to hide my pain and hurt. I didn't bother trying to sound happy, like I did with Brad. Lena -- "what's wrong?" Rosie -- "I had that dream again" Lena -- "the exact same?" Rosie -- "yep" Lena -- "don't let it get to you; you know it didn't happen like that. The divorce bit may be true but he didn't take Jayden from you" Rosie -- "yeah I know" Lena -- "Rosie, I think you need to try and move on from Joe" Rosie -- "I have been trying, for four years now." Lena -- "are you still coming over for dinner tonight?" Rosie -- "yeah" The kettle had finished boiling so I started to pour the water into the mug. Lena -- "good, because there is someone I want you to meet" We spoke on the phone for a little longer about the night. We discussed things like what I should wear and what time she wanted me there. Unfortunately Joe was going to be there. It's been four years since the divorce and he has managed to move on. We don't talk unless we have to; even then it is only really about Jayden. After the phone conversation I couldn't help but wonder who it was she wanted me to meet. She has tried to hook me up with guys before and they have never worked out too well. Let's just say that Lena wasn't the best at playing match maker. Jayden soon woke up and he and I spent the day just hanging around the house. He had a friend come over and they just played out the back. Later that evening as the sun was starting to set; we started getting ready to go to Lena's. We soon arrived at Lena's and Jayden had gone running straight in, so I just followed along. A saw Jayden go running over to give Joe a hug, so I decided to just let them be. I looked around the room and saw that just about everyone was here already. I soon spotted Lena standing over talking to Miley so I started making my way over to her. Rosie -- "hey" Lena -- "oh hi, it's about time you're here" Rosie -- "I'm two minutes later; I didn't realize that was such a big deal" Lena -- "anyway, there he is" I turned around to see... ------------------ comment, rate, subscribe, tell people
