eco is designed by 6 students from architecture design, aalborg university, denmark www.ecochair.dk The chair can easily be transformed into a bed and even a chaiselong because of the folding system only made from reused corrugated cardboard.

Jan 21, 2009 - Hi! Thanks for the kind comment - glad you like it!! :0D The glue that is used for gluing the sheets together is made from cornflour and is therefore 100 % organic. That makes the cardboard frame ideal for easy recycling - as well as the mattress made from 100 % cotton. Can't wait to check out your videos ;0)

Tell me, are your sheets of cardboard glued together with organic glues, or are you using glues with PE in them - that would of course make your product very difficult to repulp - it would have to be recycled (PE seperated from paper) and then repulped. Maybe something worth looking into. Either way - I LIKE YOUR WORK!! Keep shining!!...check out XanitaDesign - we are doing something similar - ish!!
