Kenneth Gardner explains how you can use your therapeutic grade Young Living Lemon essential oil, which is one of the 9 "Everyday Oils". http://www.KennethGardner.com I'm Kenneth Gardner, and I've been using the Young Living products, and I love what they do for me. Believe it or not, I am almost 50 years old, and the thing I love about the Young Living essential oils is the physical and emotional benefits that they provide. Today, what I'd like to talk to you about is the Lemon essential oil, how I use it and many other ways that you can use it. Lemon essential oil is known to be a powerful antioxidant and immune stimulant, and you can get those benefits simply by adding it to your water, and that will flavor the water and give you those benefits. Another way you could take it internally is by putting some in a capsule from Young Living. You could put a few drops in a capsule, playing with the amount, and simply swallow it. Lemon essential oil is not the same as lemon juice. Lemon oil is made from the rind. Nevertheless, it could be used in cooking for seasoning and for flavoring in baking. You could put it in other beverages and even make your own lemonade with a few drops of lemon oil plus water and sweetener, playing with the amounts. There's a trick with Lemon essential oil to extend the shelf life of your fruits, and that is to wash your fruit and then dunk them in a bowl of water that has drops of lemon oil in it. Lemon essential oil would be good to diffuse in your office like we are doing with this Young Living diffuser. By doing that, you can actually help increase memory and concentration and decrease mistakes. Lemon essential oil also has antiseptic properties, so you can add it to water in a restaurant, for example, and it's said to even help with the chlorination. I like to put it in my water crock, my water cooler, and it will actually inhibit the algae, and I don't have to clean the crock as often. A personal use for lemon oil is if you have a wart problem. With warts, it can be applied onto a wart twice a day. Another thing is if you have varicose veins, you could apply it there. If you have high blood pressure, you could try lemon oil in a capsule and see how it helps you. People also use it for oily skin and blemishes, so it can help to balance the oil glands and decrease oil production. You could apply Lemon essential oil to cold sores, mouth sores, or sore gums. Another place you can apply it is to athletes foot. Some people have a problem with cellulite, and you could try lemon essential oil on those problem areas to help improve the circulation and help illiminate waste from cells. Yet another use is to help prevent or soothe corns, calluses, and bunions. Lemon oil has uses around the house, and you know it's much better to use natural products than to use chemicals which aren't going to do you any good even if they smell nice. So what you could do with Lemon oil to freshen the air is take a glass spray bottle with water and shake up some drops of the lemon oil in the bottle and spray it around the house. You could also use it to disinfect your countertop and cutting surfaces, which are problematic because they have those crevices in them. You could apply the lemon essential oil directly to those cutting surfaces to help disinfect them. A cool use for lemon oil in the kitchen is for your dishcloth, and we know how those can be. You can take your dishcloth and overnight you can soak it in a bowl of water with a drop of lemon oil to keep it fresh. It can help even with your dishwasher. You can add a drop to the dishwasher at the beginning of the wash cycle. If you're out and about and using a public restroom, you may want to put some on your hands to help disinfect your hands, and, again, this is far better then using chemical disinfectants and so-called soaps, which are just not going to be good for you. There are recipes for cleaners and furniture polish using lemon essential oil, and I could get those to you if you'd like. That would be too much to explain in this video. The last cool use for Lemon essential oil is for removing gum, oil, grease spots, glue, adhesive, and crayon marks. I used it just the other day for some adhesive I could not get off the counter. It came right off with just a drop of lemon oil. So those are the things you can use your Young Living Essential Lemon essential oil for. Dec 2, 2011 - Recipe for cleansing lemonade: Take 3/4 glass ( 200 ml ) of purified water, add freshly squeezed juice from 1/2 a lemon, and to that add 1 tablespoon of organic maple syrup, and to that add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and stir until all ingredients are mixed in. Sometimes I add a few drops of lemon oil to give it an extra kick. I hope this helps.
