I took a deep breath and smiled. "So about tonight, why dont we just stay in, watch a movie?" I asked him moving back to my dalad putting it into a bowl and sitting down. "Thats sounds good" he answered. "I talked to Camilla, and um, she really wants to start working out some arrangements." He said, grabbing a water bottle out of the fridge. "Like what" I asked. I could do this. I could act like this wasnt weird. Like this was perfectly normal. Like my fiance discussing what arrangement he should make with his daughter from another woman that was born when he was 15 was perfectly normal. Just dandy. "Like maybe having Rilee go back and forth between us. We talked with her about it and she said she would like that. What do you think" I swallowed on my salad hard, breathe, I could handle this. "What ever you think babe" I said stuffing another forkfull of salad in my mouth so that i had an excuse not to say anything. "So e were thinking maybe 3 days here, 4 there, I could get her friday through sunday and Camilla monday through thursday." I knodded as I continued chewing. I felt him kiss my forehead, thank you for being so understanding about this, I knew once you came around you would be so helpful. So, um, Im gonna go with camilla and Rilee to pick out some furniture for her, they asked me if I could go tonight, but I told them we had plans-" I swallowed cutting him off, "Go, she'll need a place to sleep, furniture is important" i said. "Really? I mean, are you sure" he said going from excited to calm, my heart broke. "yup" "Okay, Im gonna go call, camilla, bye babe" He said. he grabbed his water bottle, kissed my cheek and walked out. I stood up fast and opened the closet, i grabbed the 'special occassion' alchohol. I opened it and took a big gulp straight out of the bottle. I really asnt a drinker, a little wine here and there but I knew that maybe two big sips and Joe, and his new family he was so excited to run off and see would be none of my concern. And three, I forget that she would be here 3 days a week. 4 I could forget that while Joe was working, I would be here lone with her. And 5 maybe I could forget that Joe had cheated on me, and that he was out with that woman right no. So many damn things to forget, so little drink in the bottle. 2 hours later I sat alone on the couch in the living room, drunk out of my mind, the empt bottle rolling across the floor. My life was coming apart, and I was laughing, I was laughing because who else would this happen to, but me. I heard the door open, and I stood up, "Babe?" I heard as Joe turned on the light. "Hello Joseph" I said swaying as i walked. "Taylor?" He asked concerned. "Did you have so much fun with your little girl? Did you pick out pretty pink furniture while she held your hand and Camilla stood next to you." The bottle rolled to Joes feet, and he picked it up. "Did people tell you what a beautiful family you had as you walked, did you kiss Camilla just to play the god damn role?" "Did you drink all of this?" He asked concerned.
